Considering our perspective is a core aspect of living intentionally. To live with perspective is about setting our minds on learning a new lesson from God and putting His truth into action each and every day.
Perspective shapes our beliefs and influences our actions as well as our responses to life circumstances. Therefore, we need to consider our perspective — how we process life — and whether our thoughts line up with the Word. We also need to evaluate our behavior to see if it conform to God’s plans and purposes for our lives.
Romans 12:2 urges us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds and 2 Corinthians 10:5 challenges us to take captive every thought and make it obedient to Christ. These two verses combined are the foundation of living intentionally with perspective.
With the Perspective Challenge, together we can focus on the perspective word or phrase God has placed in our hearts (see the living intentionally worksheet and guide) along with providing a tangible way to record and share these related life lessons. I encourage you to take the next step in living intentionally by participating in the Perspective Challenge.
Participate in the Perspective Challenge
Stop by each Wednesday to share your Perspective word or phrase and any verse as well as practical insight revealed to you over the course of the week. You can leave a link to your blog post or use the comment space to share your thoughts. I also encourage you to take the time to visit other participants to offer a word of encouragement!
